Keogh is a leading expert on the 2017 Tax Act and the Opportunity Tax Zones tax provision (section 1400Z-2) and advises clients in tax planning and deal structuring around the sale or purchase of businesses and real property. He is highly proficient in the areas of energy, environmental and natural resource law – including water rights law – and has been instrumental in developing some of the largest renewable energy projects in the Intermountain West.

In his practice, Keogh combines his pre-law business experience, a master’s degree in economics and his extensive legal experience in structuring business and real estate transactions with his passion for Montana’s outdoor and rural lifestyle to deliver a unique skillset to clients.
