Paul D. Veasy
Paul Veasy is a shareholder in Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Litigation practice group. He served as chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group from 1999 until 2014. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, representing businesses and financial institutions in all courts; water rights litigation; and real estate litigation, including landlord and tenant disputes. He has successfully argued numerous appeals before the Utah Supreme Court and the Utah Court of Appeals.
Mr. Veasy is a member of the Idaho State Bar, Utah State Bar, American Bar Association, and the Salt Lake County Bar. Mr. Veasy is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Banking Law and Commercial Litigation and maintains Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating, an AV®. He continues to be recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” and has been selected for inclusion in Mountain States Super Lawyers and Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition for business litigation.
Mr. Veasy was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1980 and the Utah State Bar in 1983. He joined the litigation department of Parsons Behle & Latimer in 1989, before which he practiced in Idaho until 1982 and then practiced with the Salt Lake City firm of Biele, Haslam & Hatch.
