Emily D. Holt
Emily D. Holt is a member of the Banking & Finance and Litigation, Trials & Appeals practice groups at Parsons Behle & Latimer. Ms. Holt concentrates her practice on commercial, banking, debt and equity financing, probate, and real estate law.
Before attending law school, Ms. Holt graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She received her MBA degree from the University of Utah and was a small business owner.
Ms. Holt received her JD degree from the University of Utah, graduating with high honors. During law school, Ms. Holt was an articles editor of the Utah Law Review, where her article “E-Verify During a Period of Economic Recovery and High Unemployment” was published. She received the CALI Excellence Award for the highest grades in Pretrial Practice, Advanced Legal Research, and Legal Profession, as well as the College of Law Outstanding Achievement Award for Legal Writing and Conflict Management. While attending law school, Ms. Holt served as a judicial intern for the U.S. District Court, District of Utah, and as a volunteer for several pro bono legal clinics. She was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2013 and the Nevada State Bar in 2014.
In her free time, Ms. Holt enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
