Cory D. Sinclair
Cory D. Sinclair is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Litigation practice group, where he specializes in antitrust, intellectual property, complex commercial litigation, class action defense, and all damage-related issues. He earned a Ph.D. in economics, specializing in antitrust, industrial organization, and sports economics. His training and background in economics provides him with unique skills and perspective in litigation and risk. He commonly consults clients on litigation risk and potential exposure, as well as evaluating and critiquing expert opinions on all damage-related issues.
Mr. Sinclair has significant experience representing clients in a wide variety of antitrust cases involving monopolization, exclusive dealing, health care antitrust, distribution networks, and resale price maintenance. He has also served as antitrust counsel in mergers and acquisitions that require regulatory approval.
He also commonly represents clients in complex commercial cases, including class action defense, contractual disputes, claims of tortious interference, trade secret misappropriation, and consumer and employment class actions.
Mr. Sinclair is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah, where he teaches law and economics to undergraduate and graduate economics students. He is an active member of the Utah State Bar, including serving as the President of the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Section of the bar.
Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Mr. Sinclair worked in the Antitrust Division at the United States Department of Justice.
